About ME
Margaret LoBianco
For 33 years I ran a Highland Dance Studio; the pipes were ringing and the kilts were swinging!
Now in retirement I have made the switch from producing choreography and sewing kilts to creating fun designs into quilts.
I am blessed to come from a large artistic family. In regards to quilting my mother and Aunties were a wonderful inspiration!
‘“Auditioning” the perfect fabrics and colorful combinations for my designs makes my heart sing! I love all types of quilting but I am especially drawn to three dimensional elements.
I adore Yo-Yos, Prairie Points, 3-D Hexies and a wonderful variety of 3-D fabric flowers. These all add beautiful texture to my original quilt designs that draw people in, enticing them to touch.
I am passionate about the art of quilting. It brings ‘sew much joy’ to my life. a teacher at heart, I love to share my designs and techniques with fellow quilters. I enjoy teaching classes in quilt shops, for quilt guilds and retreats.

Margaret’s quilts, all her own original designs, containing 3-D fabric element were ‘recognized’ at the Venice Area’s Quilt Show March 5-6th! Out of her three judged entries, Margaret received eight award.
